Do we need to learn the rules before playing?
No. SMOOCH guides you through the night as you play. You can also read the full rules before starting.
Do we need to physically be together?
Play in the same room or long distance over a video call. SMOOCH has versions designed for both.
Can we replay the same storyline?
The world stays the same. The night doesn’t. Each storyline has a set premise and chapter arc, but your aliases, board moves, challenge choices and level of boldness shape how it plays.
Can we skip a challenge?
Yes. Every challenge is optional. Either player can skip at any time, the game keeps moving and the cost goes into the Date Pot.
How does someone win?
When the final chapter ends, the bolder player takes the Date Pot first, then the player with the highest net worth (cash plus the value of the spots they own) wins the night. You’ll also receive a couple title based on how you played together.

Do I need to download anything?
No. SMOOCH runs in your browser on your phone, tablet or laptop. Sign in with Google or Apple to save, pause and resume your game.
How much does SMOOCH cost?

How long is a game?
Each story has a set number of chapters to complete and typically takes 45 to 90 minutes, depending on how you play. There is no timer and the final chapter ends the night.
